Helping customers navigate complex online decisions through natural conversation has secured Firney Ltd the AI Innovation of the Year award in the Technology Awards. For Direct Ferries, the London technology company developed an artificial intelligence booking assistant capable of supporting more than 300 common enquiries across thousands of routes. A Capital Built on Achievement

The 2026 Greater London winners demonstrate that innovation is most valuable when it responds to a clearly understood problem. Across this year’s award recipients, technology has been used to simplify complex journeys, improve access to learning, strengthen operational visibility and deliver more personalised support. These developments are grounded in practical application rather than novelty alone.

People and relationships are equally prominent throughout the results. Our winners have invested in fair employment, inclusive recruitment, individual development, community opportunity and services shaped around the needs of those who use them. Whether operating internationally or within a particular London neighbourhood, they have shown that sustainable growth can be supported by accountability, trust and responsible decision-making.

Together, these achievements offer a broad view of Greater London’s business community. The capital continues to support ambitious new enterprises, established service providers and individuals whose leadership extends beyond their formal roles. Congratulations to all our 2026 Greater London Business Award winners.
