Our winners and finalists demonstrate how thoughtful, compassionate and well-structured mental health support can have a meaningful impact across different settings, from one-to-one practice to wider community and peer led initiatives.

Our 2025 Mental Health Care Award Winners

Taking a neuroscience informed approach to long term trauma recovery, Future-Edge Therapy Ltd won Mental Health Care Organisation of the Year. Their hands on therapy model, centred around the nervous system and backed by hundreds of testimonials, has helped individuals work through unresolved trauma and build lasting emotional resilience.

Delivering training and peer led programmes inside prisons, Unlock My Life secured the Best Mental Health Programme award. Their Ambassador model empowers individuals to support one another, while their structured training increases mental health literacy and emotional resilience in settings where support is often limited. Their work continues to have impact long after release.

Building confidence, competence and emotional understanding among healthcare teams, Certified Minds Limited stood out for its innovative training that helps paediatric wards support young people experiencing mental health crises. Using live simulations, reflective practice and specialist guidance, their programmes make frontline environments safer and more reassuring for patients and clinicians. Their dedication to improving real world interactions earned them the Innovation in Mental Health Care Award.

Championing openness and psychological safety in the creative industries, Critical Mass (UK) & Tribal EMEA received the Outstanding Mental Health Advocate award for sustained work led by Matt Jordan. His willingness to share lived experience has shaped internal culture, improved access to wellbeing resources and contributed to stronger engagement and retention within the organisation. The result is a workplace where mental health conversations feel natural and genuinely supported.

Addressing emotional strain and health inequality across the North East, Northern Cancer Voices was awarded Best Peer Support Programme. Their lived experience model creates an informal, empathetic space where individuals affected by cancer can access advocacy, connection and practical support that reflects their cultural and community needs.

Delivering accessible online support to people worldwide, The Trauma Recovery School earned the Mental Health Community Impact Award for its digital Trauma Recovery Method™. Their combination of guided learning, scientific grounding and human connection offers a lifeline to those seeking long term recovery, and their growing community reflects the strength of their work.

Supporting clients through anxiety, depression, low mood and neurodiversity related challenges, Gill Jackson Therapeutic Counselling was recognised for Excellence in Patient Support. With expanded services including ADHD support and coaching, her practice helps individuals who often face long waiting lists for diagnosis and structured guidance.

Providing clients with a calm, structured and highly personal space for transformation, Darshana Qureshi Coaching earned the Patient Satisfaction Award. Her coaching approach encourages individuals to process difficult emotions, rebuild confidence and move forward with clarity, and her testimonials reflect genuine appreciation for her empathy and guidance.

Recognised as a practitioner who creates a safe and therapeutic environment for change, Laurahypnotherapy.co.uk was awarded Rising Star in Mental Health Care. Her work supports clients living with anxiety, past trauma and emotional overwhelm, offering calm, confidence and practical strategies through hypnotherapy.
