A clinically informed approach to complex care earned Prestige Nursing & Care Chichester & Worthing the title of Best Nursing Care Provider in the Care Awards. As a nurse-owned and nurse-led organisation, the provider supports clients from childhood through to end-of-life care, working closely with local health and social care professionals. Its rapid growth, preventive Healthline Pro service and emphasis on clinical supervision demonstrate how strong governance and compassionate delivery can work together to help people remain safely and independently at home.

Personalised dementia support is central to Haviland House, Guild Care, our Care Home of the Year in the Care Awards. The purpose-built home is organised into five smaller households, allowing residents to receive support suited to different stages of their dementia journey while remaining within familiar surroundings. Twenty-four-hour nursing, carefully considered admissions, evidence-based design and tailored wellbeing activities all contribute to a model focused on continuity, dignity and a genuine sense of belonging.

Consistent communication and relationship-led support helped CareYourWay Chichester secure Exceptional Customer Satisfaction in the Care Awards. Its Advanced Practitioner in Transformational Coaching programme was developed to help coaches move beyond theoretical models and better understand the behavioural and emotional factors affecting their clients. Ten consecutive sold-out cohorts, a 99% completion rate and strong progression into further programmes provide compelling evidence of a learning experience built around practical development, close supervision and lasting professional confidence.

Player development at the Junior Players Academy extends well beyond technical golfing ability, earning Mark Haines of Junior Players Academy the title of Sports Coach of the Year in the Sports and Leisure Awards. Individual development plans, performance tracking, mentoring and structured practice have supported substantial progress among the academy’s junior golfers. Reliability, careful training and close attention to detail underpin the work of Bright & Beautiful Haywards Heath, winner of Residential Cleaning Service of the Year in the Cleaning Services Awards. In only its second year, the business has established a strong local reputation for dependable domestic cleaning and well-managed service. Owner Monika Boorova has drawn on her previous experience in interiors and residential projects to create an operation where consistency, trust and pride in workmanship remain central.

A small coffee shop with a significant community role, Teas and Seas was recognised for Excellence in Food Service in the Food Industry Awards. Alongside serving homemade cakes and providing attentive customer service, the independent business has created a welcoming environment where customers can celebrate, find company or simply feel heard. Initiatives such as its coffee, cake and chit-chat sessions demonstrate how thoughtful hospitality can help strengthen relationships and reduce loneliness within a local community.

Independent veterinary care with a personal touch earned VetsCarePets the title of Veterinary Clinic of the Year in the Pet and Animal Care Awards. The family-owned provider has developed from a mobile veterinary service with a fully equipped ambulance into a permanent practice serving pets and their owners in West Sussex. Its tailored services, accessible approach and close familiarity with patients reflect a commitment to providing compassionate care within an independent local setting.
