With 27 years of experience and a client base extending across four continents, Cybele Training & Consultancy Ltd is our Business Training and Education of the Year winner in the Business Training and Education Awards. The Salisbury-based business designs bespoke leadership, management, wellbeing, sales and customer experience programmes using psychology, behavioural science and practical learning. Its sustained commercial growth, international delivery and extensive contribution to local counselling, education and disability charities reflect a training provider with both professional reach and strong community values.
A highly adaptable and person-centred approach secured Next Mile Driver Training the Driving Instructor of the Year award in the Driving Tuition Awards. Mel Higgins combines advanced driving expertise with coaching techniques that help learners and trainee instructors strengthen their confidence, judgement and professional capability. Mel Higgins has also been named Businesswoman of the Year in the Women in Business Awards for her work with Next Mile Driver Training, Doris Archer Motorsport and Ninety2 Automotive. Bringing together driver education, automotive photography and motorsport, she combines technical knowledge, marketing experience and practical leadership with a willingness to create opportunities for others. Her support for trainee instructors, service leavers and emerging motorsport talent demonstrates an entrepreneurial approach shaped by adaptability, personal involvement and a consistent belief in people’s potential.
Developed in response to an unmet need experienced by women with severe pregnancy sickness, Replenish has been named Newcomer Ecommerce Business of the Year in the Ecommerce Business Awards. Founded in Wiltshire by Laura Moore and Laura Milward, the business created an electrolyte and vitamin solution that can be consumed directly from a sachet when tablets or larger drinks are difficult to tolerate. Its ecommerce-led launch, educational content and partnership with Pregnancy Sickness Support have enabled the brand to combine product development with informed customer support.
Four generations of food industry knowledge underpin the service delivered by Four Seasons Fruiterers, our Food Retailer of the Year in the Food Industry Awards. The family-run, chef-led wholesaler supplies hospitality, care and retail customers with fresh produce and a wider range of dairy, bakery, ambient, chilled and frozen foods. By understanding the pressures facing working kitchens and maintaining a personal, responsive service, the business has developed from a small local operation into a dependable regional foodservice partner.
Quality cooking, attentive hospitality and consistent community involvement have earned The Poplars Wingfield the Excellence in Food Service award in the Food Industry Awards. The venue’s approach extends beyond its menus, with initiatives including Christmas meal donations, local seed swaps, community meeting space and a commitment to supporting its village school. This combination of food service and local participation has helped the business build lasting customer loyalty and sustained industry recognition.
Rapid growth supported by extensive logistics experience placed Cal South Ltd at the forefront of the Courier Service of the Year category in the Haulage and Logistics Awards. Established in Devizes in 2023, the company has expanded from a home-based operation into a 16-person team providing round-the-clock courier, haulage, international and specialist delivery services. Its ability to manage time-critical collections, support production lines and provide clients with booking and tracking technology demonstrates a responsive and increasingly capable logistics operation.
Recognition as the Rising Star Award winner in the Health Care Awards also reflects the early progress made by Wellness Without Barriers. Gemma Davies has used her personal understanding of chronic illness and fluctuating capacity to develop a gentler, more accessible model of wellness support. Designed to make inclusive services easier to find, Inclusion Support Hub is our Best Newcomer Small Business winner in the Small Business Awards. Founded by Kerise Myers, the neurodivergent-led digital platform connects individuals and families with coaches, therapists, advocates, SEND professionals and other lived-experience-led providers. Its clear directory structure, accessible presentation and developing programme of guides, events and visibility opportunities address the challenges faced by both those seeking support and the businesses providing it.
