At Kicks and Tricks Ltd, winners of Best Family Start-Up, the husband-and-wife team of Conner and Helen have turned their passion for sports and education into a thriving business. Based in Suffolk, they provide sports coaching, PE provision, and holiday camps for local children. Soft Play in a Box claimed the Innovation in Family Business award for their creative approach to party rentals. By offering a convenient nationwide service that delivers high-quality soft play equipment directly to customers’ doors, they’ve revolutionised the way families celebrate and connect.

Maxi Filtration was recognised as the Most Sustainable Family Business for their innovative eco-friendly practices in the air filtration industry. By integrating sustainability into every aspect of their operations, Maxi Filtration is setting new standards for environmental responsibility in their field.

For Family Business Community Impact, Crystal Academy: Aerial Arts & Dance CIC stood out for their dedication to fostering inclusion and addressing social challenges through dance. Their impactful programmes have not only enriched the lives of hundreds but also brought international acclaim with a World Dance Finals Bronze Medal.

The title of Best Family Business Growth went to Northwest Engines Rochdale Ltd. From humble beginnings in a small garage, this father-and-son team has grown into the UK’s leading EcoBoost specialists, setting new standards in automotive innovation.

Finally, Care First UK Recruitment Solutions was named Family-Owned Service Business of the year. Their personalised approach to healthcare recruitment, built on decades of experience, honours the legacy of co-founder Abdul Jaffer while continuing to support clients and candidates with unmatched dedication.
